Do you guys use landing pages? If so, what would a good landing page look like?

It's absolutely a must to have landing pages if you are trying to get leads. Actually, I think it's a must for any website even if you aren't just because people expect it.

You need one to look professional. I have on on my blog. Before I didn't and I swear my traffic has increased by 50% since changing this.

I guess it depends on what your site will be doing. Most forums don't have a landing page but more of a main page where all categories are listed. Blogs tend to need them to look more professional.
