I definitely think the future for forums and online communities is mobile first.
We really need to make sure we're building our experiences optimized primarily for mobile.

That's a Jcink forum that looks like they have the mobile version of the site disabled, which is a shame because elements from the board wrapper can cause issues like this. Mobile mode on Jcink doesn't take the board wrapper into effect.
