There is a popular saying, better late than never. I do not believe there is any time too late to start up your personal business. There are some who where able to startup their business after their retirement and they are still able to do something meaningful from it.

I am sure the man will be happy to start the business. As long as you have passion for something, I don't think there's late time to do something. The best time to do something is yesterday while the better time to do it now is now.
