There are many times that I feel like this, I just try to rest although my head also repeats that I must be productive, but I try to shut it up and try to rest, because if not, I will not rest, I will be bad and the next few days will not be productive either, it is better to give yourself some time off so as not to end up worse.
It's great to hear that you enjoy your work, particularly writing, but taking small breaks even for a few minutes, won't disturb your work schedule. It's necessary for your overall well-being, too.

It's true, I understand you, the mind is very treacherous, when you have been resting for more than 10 minutes it will start to repeat that you are wasting your time and that you are not being productive, even when you are sick, sometimes you just need to disconnect for a while from everything.This is something that happens to me sometimes too. I will be telling myself that I need to take a break but when I remember all that I need to take care of, it's going to be very difficult for me to stop until I start sleeping off on the job while I'm still at it.
