How to Get a Free Blog or Forum with Infinity Free

InfinityFree.com

It would be hosted with a subdomain and an SSL certificate is available, but you have to install it.

Who has tried it? I am using it now without the SSL. I will try to figure out how to do that at some point, but it seems very difficult.

Anyway, the forums and blogs are available thru Softalicious on the cPanel control panel.

I've used Infinity Free, it's pretty simple to request a SSL certificate. Just follow the steps below to get you one! First, you just need to click on your account, click on SSL Certificates and it'll have your domain name listed. Click on manage, then click on request free SSL certificate. Click on any type of certificate, I use Let's Encrypt. As long as your domain name is pointing to Infinity Free's DNS servers (which it should be) you can click on "Setup CNAME Records", then scroll down to install the SSL certificate. It should take a bit to install it, but it should work. Once it's down processing the CNAME records and requesting the certificate, it'll give you the option to install the certificate automatically and it should work at least 15 minutes after!

A big problem is getting the https:// to show up on phpBB forum. I tried it thru the server and cookie settings, but it does major damage to where you can't even login.
