it depends on the person and the work you do, but generally if you are finished with a "chapter" of your project/work you deserve some time of rest but not longer than the time spent on working so you can be productive too

Some companies decides the extent of breaks that you have to take no matter the kind of jobs or work you are doing for them. Some don't even give their staff breaks. They use their workers as slaves which is not fair at all.
