How often do you drink alcohol?

I don't drink, I have not touched any alcoholic drinks in the last 10 years. In my early adulthood days, I used to drink 1-2 times per week.

Twice of thrice a year. I've not seen myself having more than that till now. I only drink beer though.
Beers are tax-free in Goa, right?
I once wanted to go to Goa just to drink beer. That was when I was in my teens.
These days I no longer drink.

By drinking beer this way, you will never develop drinking problems like those who can't stay a day without drinking beer like one of my friend. If he's coming back from work, he will always go to the bar and drink two bottles of Heineken.

Yeah! That's correct! There's no tax on alcohol and also it is found at much cheaper rates compared to the rest of the states in India. 😄 Although I've not been to Goa yet, I would love to visit it once just to experience the night life there. I've heard a lot of good things about it happening mostly during the Christmas - New Year time! ;)

To me drinking alcohol is good but not to abuse it. I do drink alcohol from time to time, but that is when I'm back from work because it is not adversable to drink alcohol during working hours. I normally drink alcohol during weekends especially when I'm watching my favourite soccer.

I don't smoke because I know that it's not a healthy habit. The only way that I have used Cannabis was to cook my food to serve as a general anesthetic drug to induce sleep. But as for drinks, I have been at it for years. I had a bottle of Caste Lite beer last night when I was tensed up. It eased me up and helped me to calm down.
I've heard that people used cannabis to cook but I've never seen the process. Does it in any way alter the smell and taste of the food?

I have been to India but have never been to Goa.
If alcohol is cheap in Goa, it must be a haven for those who like drinking.
By the way, what is the native alcoholic drink called, Feni?
How does it taste?

Never, really. I've taken some sips of alcohol in my life and I'm just not a fan of them. The only alcoholic beverage I seem to like is a pina colada.

What i have learnt in this life is that "Too much of everything is bad". What i mean is that when you take excessive alcohol it has it's side effect in the body.
I rarely take alcohol when i am alone but once my best friend is around, we take it responsibly.
I clean my home, every time i am available to.
As we were taught while we were much younger that:
'Cleaniness is next to Godliness'.
So i find it joy to make sure my home is clean no matter what

Drinking alcohol is good for the body when consum moderately. I do drink alcohol after days work and also some weekend especially when I'm watching a soccer either at home or at the stadium. I also drink alcohol with friends.

Almost never. Maybe 3-4 times a year, and only at a restaurant with friends. I don't drive, so it's not an issue for me. But I will limit myself to one small bottle. I don't get drunk ever, not enough to get to that point.

It definitely alters the smell of the food. It's just like when you make use of thyme to cook. Do you remember the smell it adds to the food? It's exactly the same thing with using Cannabis to cook either jollof rice or any other food or even noddles.

The only thing I have heard about cannabis for cooking is that people use it as an ingredient to make cookies, sweets, and tea, but I had never heard that it was used in another way in the kitchen, alcohol is used in many kitchens, in fact, yesterday I used beer and white wine to cook some chicken thighs.

Personally, I make use of it as a sleeping addictive in my food. Once it's cooked and ingested, it's not going to take more than 10 minutes for me to sleep off for hours. Unfortunately, I don't smoke, so I wouldn't know whether it does have the same effects when it's smoked.

Okay, I understand, I know people who use it for that purpose, thanks to the CBD substance that stimulates sleep and relaxes the body, if you smoke that specific substance of Cannabis will have similar effects, they sell it in specialized stores here in my country.

How often would you say you drink alcohol? I used to drink a bit when I was younger, but these days, I rarely touch it. I mostly smoke cannabis these days. But what about you, are you into drinking alcohol?

I am not someone who is keen on drinking daily or even weekly. I don't want to get addicted to drinking because of the dangers that it comes up with. It is always not easy resisting the urge to take alcohol once you get addicted to them, and that is something that I tend to avoid every day.

I don't drink at all. I drank mostly when I was 21 to 24 and stopped when I was 25. It wasn't something I made a big deal about, I just kind of got sick of drinking. I never liked it to begin with.

It is good that you stopped drinking alcohol. Aside the need for people to feel excited from drinking alcohol, of what other use would anyone say that it is necessary to drink alcohol. So, I remain on the position that stopping it is the best as long as you can be able to endure it.

I'm here! I used to drink weekly. I haven't done it daily because I work, so it's going to be very difficult for me to drink in the morning before going to work or drinking almost immediately after coming back from work when I still have a business to face up and also my online jobs.

For one to be able to drink daily shows that they have some drinking issues. I don't think it is sensible, to be honest. So, having that moderation where you drink once a week is fair as long as it doesn't mess up your plans for the week.
