How much is too much for watching a movie?

Do you have a limit on the maximum you're willing to spend on a ticket? Will you pay more to see a 3D, 4D, or IMAX movie?

I have not been to IMAX, the ticket costs $10 here, I can afford 3D and 4D once in a while.

It depends on the film. Current ticket prices are about $12 or so these days. I remember as a kid I would go and see three films at a time and it'd only cost me about $12 altogether (these were matinee showings on weekdays though).

I have a tight budget when it comes to watching movies. I wouldn't want to pay extra for a 3D at the cinema. There are a lot of movies that I can watch at home and paying more for the special effects at the cinema ain't cut it for me.

The theater where I live just shows them all in 2D for 10 dollars a person. Most of the time I never pay to see the 3D version anyway.
