To buy a website might be expensive but for you to create your own website from scratch, all you have to do is to register with GoDaddy and start up. GoDaddy is not that expensive.

It all depends on the type of website you are interested in, some website are more expensive than the other. When you want to create a website from the scratch it might be cheaper. But an already made website might be expensive.

Building the site, meaning coding your own forum and whatnot can be costly if you using people to help and or buying resources or seat back and take far longer and code it yourself from nothing.

My road is adding up over time with my IPB software plus hosting server and other things.

1. $800 hosting for three years
2. $35 for a domain for two years
3. $60 for IPB licence for six months
4. $500 or more for the IPB forum software that you pay once only
5. Almost $250 for addons that you might buy
6. Round $100 or more for addons renewable

Then the money that you might pay for overtime like adverts and or posting to whatever. That's my statement

The age of the website
The quality back links
The website way back

There are free hosts out there, but obviously they have their downsides. But if you're going to pay for the service then you can get it pretty cheap nowadays and places like Squarespace, Wix or WordPress.com are pretty good places to start.

That's very true, if you have skills and if you do it yourself, the cost of building a website is just the money you pay for the domain and hosting. If you already have domain and hosting, your cost will be zero
