Am planning on creating my own website, can anyone put me through and how much does it cost to create website

It costed me around 600 euros for the rough format of the website, the technical and the design itself, I have wrote and added the images with my girlfriend, if we would ask them to do it the price would ve been double

According to my experience ,a good website is not expensive but you need to see the features which a website is offering. You can start website with 10$ to 20$.There are many websites like WordPress ,wix etc which can be started in cheap price.

It depends on the kind of the website you are trying to build and the mechanics implemented in it , the type of maintenance it will require and what services it requires (such as Database, Security , Domains and its Licenses ...) it can build up real fast real high, a casual CMS With no special services may cost from 50$ + and up , and that's considering that the one creating it for you is using an outdated framework for it to be that cheap.

Agreed. A simple blog can be set up for under $30 (domain and the shared hosting from Namecheap). However, if you are creating a complex site, an online store, for example, you need a VPS or Dedicated Servers, which cost a lot of money. When I was creating my site, I ended up spending $400 (domain, hosting, content development, and marketing)
