How many articles should you post a week on a blog?

Let's say you have a blog, how often do you put up content? Multiple times every day? A couple times a day? Every other day? etc?

How many articles do you think should be posted in a week? I think there should at least be one every other day. But I think the best bet, is to do at least 1-2 articles a day on your blog. What do you guys think?

When my blogs were active I was posting twice a week so that the readers will not wait for too long. I have noticed that having a long gap between uploads of new blogs tend to lose some regular visitors. Some blogger friends said that it is best if you can upload 3 times in a week or every other day. The readers will be glad to be coming back.

It depends, the more post you create, the more engaged visitor's might be if it is a quality content but one also have to know the balance to avoid too much posts.

I am not fixated with numbers of articles to be published in a week or a month for that matter. If I have a lot of articles at my disposal, I publish every week other wise, I publish once in 2-3 months.

There is no limit to the number of articles you are to post on a blog every week. You can post as many articles as you can get or generate weekly as long as they are original

It all depends on you as content is always important and if you just focus on numbers than you might compromise in quality and it is not good for you. So only posts if you can provide quality posts otherwise 1 article is enough for me.

I think that if you put up a single article everyday then its generally pretty good because people will still be engaged within your blog. You have to constantly be updating your website to order for people to stay Active and interested in what you are saying.

It is important that while youa re creating these articles that you are still focused on their quality. It is pointless to have a lot fo articles that you can post that lose the quality along the way.

I once remember my brother who was working as blogger some years back... he spend most of his time online posting a lot of new and so on... I don't think there's a sourdough time spent ooo... it depends on the passion of the blogger.

As a blogger, the amount of content posted depends on the blogger but for me posting everyday so as keep visitors coming is a good thing and would be beneficial on the long run

As much as it is important to always update a website with quality contents, it is also important not to bombard it with too many contents. A website should have a regular content post of about 5 in every week. Sometimes it may be more or less.

The articles you post on your new blog must be high quality in order to attract traffic. Publishing two articles per day is not really bad for a new website.
