Corruption erodes the trust we have in the public sector to act in our best interests. It also wastes our taxes or rates that have been earmarked for important community projects – meaning we have to put up with poor quality services or infrastructure, or we miss out altogether.

In today's society, corruption seems to be in vogue. The leaders of some countries have refused to allow the country grow to certain extents. Money meant for infrastructural facilities like good roads, electricity, pipe borne water and so on are embezzled by the government and thereby do not give way for rhw improvement of the economy

Not only does corruption affect economic development in terms of economic efficiency and growth, it also affects equitable distribution of resources across the population, increasing income inequalities, undermining the effectiveness of social welfare programmes and ultimately resulting in lower levels of human.

Many underdeveloped countries are suffering because their leaders are too corrupt. They steal money meant for developing the country to save in banks abroad and also to send their children to expensive schools while their Citizens suffer due to lack of infrastructural development and swift policies that would provide an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
With This, less businesses succeed and then the economy doesn't improve, thus making life difficult.
How else does corruption affects a nation's economy?
It Totaly destroys the economy of the country, unfortunately in my country almost every department is suffering from the evil of corruption. There is immediate need of serious actions to prevent the corruption in order to minimise the loss of economy.

You are definitely on point, no nation would satisfy the welfare of its citizen and communities at large if embedded in corruption, greed should be prevented in leadership positions, one way to curb corruption is transparency within every sector of the economy, the laws should be strictly followed and perpetrators severely punished to serve as deterrent to others.

Corruption has bad effects for the economy of country and corruption can seriously affect the economy of a nation in the sense that a situation in which people only deal with stealing of goods and services and greating a bad image for the country and nation.

corruption affects the economy of a nation in so many ways especially the country i am from. due to the fact that we do not have a sincere government where the affairs of the country is not made known to the people except the limited ones this made the government to lack efficient parastatals in some aspect

The biggest issue that countries have left behind is corruption and corruption destroys Future of nations and if in your country corruption has increased then your future is in danger.

Corruption is actually the biggest problem that undeveloped and developing countries are facing. It stems from the mismanagement of public funds by public office holders. Funds that were supposed to set up necessary infrastructures would be siphoned by corrupt individuals. Since those infrastructures were not built, you now have a state that is undeveloped.

Corruption is the bad evil in the progress of country and it has bad effects for the economy of country and corruption can seriously affect the economy of a nation in the sense that a situation in which people only deal with stealing of goods. It has a bad image for the country and nation.

Corrupted economies are not able to function properly because corruption prevents the natural laws of the economy from functioning freely. As a result, corruption in a nation's political and economic operations causes its entire society to suffer.

It affects in so many ways like. It affects the growth of the nation. It also affects it in a way that where we should have money in beneficial to the country some people embezzle it that is how it affects the nation. It also affects the economy in such a way that it reduces money flow nationwide.

What you have said is absolutely spot on and for any country to make any meaningful progress they have to shun correction and kick against it. Corruption can affect a country in any negative way you can think of. This can lead to poor education system due to lack of funds which have already been stolen, poor health Care. Corruption can scare away investors and potential investors and make the country's ease of going business index to drop.

Corruption influences the improvement of a country from numerous points of view. To put forth a strong effort, read a book called "American Dynasty" by Kevin Phillips. It's about the Bush's. It's pretty much all the bad brokers. It's about ravenousness. It will give you alot of understanding concerning how terrible the ones running America truly are. My rundown is excessively long. We are being sold out with regards to headway. We dont need to utilize fuel to run vehicles. We aren't being kept in obscurity on such countless levels. Suppose we never needed to go to a corner store until the end of time. Be that as it may, who might miss out on their pockets being lined? That is the reason we won't ever progress. It was debasement that cut down the pinnacles

Corruption is a cancer that eats deep into the society inhibiting growth and development of any nation. For any nation to condone it means that nation would suffer its consequences and its citizens groan. Corruption should be fought to be brought to its barest minimum.

Corruption is like cancer that spread very fast and has eaten deep into the system of many nations. Corruption has made government to make policy that affect the growth of new businesses. Most often, before you get some contracts, if you refused to bribe, you cannot get it.

Corruption is very bad to any economy and this has eaten down into the roots of many 3rd world countries especially Africa. The way most Africa country are structured allows corruption and leave many corrupt leaders unchecked.. I believe corruption can only be curb to an extent when the countries are restructured and many laws are put i n place to check the leaders

I think corruption weakens the country economy , because the government steals and loot money that is supposed to be used for project i think , so corruption is really not good at all because many country with high corruption rate are not always developed but under developed i think
