How carefully do you select the shampoo for your hair?

This, in my opinion, is crucial because shampoos today are manufactured with really dangerous ingredients. Shampoos that aren't really beneficial for our hair are produced by even well-known brands like Nivea. But, I've never selected a shampoo in a long time, I always get it at a reasonable price, and my hair is fine.

I take a cue from ads as well as personal recommendations from friends and family. If the shampoo suits me I will be using it. For example, the brand I am using is the one that I have been using for two years.
