Business is business, you should not bring in family into your business or else they will ruin your business for you, talk more of still retaining a thief in your organization all in the name of inlaw. Please do away with him if you really want the organization to grow.

It is very bad for your friend and to steal from you, for me I would call him to order and I he continues, I will tell whoever it is that got me connected to him, and if h persists, I will lay him off immediately rather than have m pulled down

Before they come over I hide and lock up everything I could. when their in house I would confront them and tell them you have been stealing from me and if you don’t bring the stuff you have stolen from me - you are not allowed to ever come in my house again plus I’m calling the police and talk to a detective. My nephew sole my mom’s meds and some of my valium. I bought a safe and keep my meds locked up at all times and my mother hid her meds.

Ahh...you're still looking for a way to manage the in-law from stealing. When you need to let him go. This is why personally, I don't encourage having family members as employees or even trying to conduct business with them. This just shows how negative that can be.

I will advice to report him first and give him time then if he refuse to stop them you can take action on him.business is not something to joke with because that is where you are getting your daily bread.report him first let them talk to him.becsuse he is your in law does not give him the licence to steal there.

In business, honesty and transparency are very important at all times. If there is a robbery of an employee, you must expel him without hesitation. He who does it once, he will continue to do it unless he learns a lesson. If you don't want to fire him, you should put him somewhere that he can't steal, after talking to him and explaining the reasons openly.
@Sariana23 I see no reason whya business owner will condone such act in an organization. If a business owner knows that the business is an entity of it own, he as the business owner doesn't have any right to take from the business money for personal projects how much more a relative.

There are 26 million merchants that offer PayPal around the world. For those merchants, customers paying in crypto won’t have any impact. Everything will be converted to fiat currency when a transaction is settled.

Try to manage someone that steals is really difficult, but at first you don't employ someone you cant sack, if you have such person in you company then the best thing to do is start a business for him/her, or get him a job elsewhere, just not to create a fight with your spouse.

One of the basic rules of business is that they is no friends or family in business si I would suggest you quietly call him and carefully advice him to desist from such habits and of he continues then you have no other option but to fire him or her.

From my perspective, that kind of a person is not wishing you or your business any good. Best bet is to lay such a person off either with good amount or based on the fact of his sin. You can also choose to reshuffle the employees involved in the business just because of him majorly.

Oh really? You don't want to offend or cross path With your in-laws family and then the business can die down! It's wrong, never cover up anything that is bad, you are only endangering the business the more, confront him or her and give a strict warnings, then take necessary action if such is reapeted

If your in law steals, you should let him go because if you keep him in your company or your business he is going to run it down for you. You can find something else for him to do, maybe like learn a skill so that he can practice and set up his own place, but the person staying and running the business with you will just run it down.

You are absolutely right, but there are business owners who, because of the affection they take for certain employees, prefer to move them from the place where they perform their duties, to another even with security cameras. In these cases, the employee usually resigns from the organization.

You can try to change his department or rather let someone be acting as a manager while you will be director. So the person will be the one punishing him de factoly. Or you confront the family to intervene in the situation to save the mess.

The truth is if you retain him he will keep stealing from you. He might have apologized because he was caught. But if he wasn't caught in the act, what do you think would happen? He will continue stealing from you. so I think the best way to handle the situation is to lay him off.

Let me start from let business remain business. Let the constitution of the firm guide your affairs as regards employee that steals at work. The inlaw part Is meant to be settled at home, and that should remain a discussion for home

What's there to manage in someone that has chosen theft as way of life, well for me, I'll make sure I follow the case with legal backing. I might not have the moral senses to put the person in jail but I would use the law to get him out of the business.
