How can a manager enforce discipline at workplace?

The first thing the manager needs to do is to establish a set of rules in the workplace for everyone. Everybody in the workplace must be able to understand the rules and the penalty associated with each of them. Yhe next thing you should never hesitate to penalize anyone who violates the rules in the workplace. This will serve as a reminder for everyone in the workplace.

A manager must be able to enforce discipline in his or her work place. Though, there should be a good and cordial relationship between the manager and the employees. Nevertheless, there should be a high sense of discipline. Don't take that for granted
 
There is no need to compel people to follow orders or force discipline in the workplace. Just make sure you establish Justice in the workplace and penalize people according to the laws they violate. if you never show favoritism to anyone even if you have your family member among them.
 
This is easier, rules and regulations should be established in any business organisation . This is the only way to enforce discipline and everyone are to obey rules that guide the smooth running of the business.
 
I think it is important that every workplace would have rules and regulations that are guiding them and as such everybody is going to know what is expected of them and the punishment if they go asleep.
 
The most important thing thing manager has to do before enforcing discipline is to allow the rule to also affects him , so if they realises the managers can also face the consequences , then the workers will be serious .
 
As a manager of an organization, a lot lies in your hand, how you want the business to run and the turn out all is your hand, so as a manager ensure you have principles that can enhance maximum productivity of the organization also to ensure proper discipline you as a person must be disciplined
The enforcement of discipline should be taken very seriouslly in the organisation because it is what will altimatelly determine the continuous profitability of the outfit in line with the attitude of the employees.
