We are all well aware that "doom day" is the unfortunate reality... But what if I told you may be able to delay/stop it completely in the distant future? By preserving your body and/or brain suspended in nitrogen through cryonics ( https://waitbutwhy.com/2016/03/cryonics.html )?
Would you take the "plunge" and sign up to that? Or would you prefer the "old fashioned" ways (burial, cremated, etc)?
Personally I would if it wasn't for the price tag (give or take about 300k at the time of writing). But if I ever able to "invest" that money towards even a slight chance of ever coming out of that canister I would do it because...
1. You would be dead regardless
2. You can always "do the nuclear option" if the future is "unbearable..."
3. Of course the "I rather die trying then not" good old saying.
Failing the monetary investment I could always put my body to good use by donating it. Yes I try even make best of this.
So what's your take on this?
