Have you used cloud hosting?

Cloud hosting is something I hear about a lot but it is not something I have used myself as of yet. Cloud hosting seems to be reliable from what I have heard from those I have spoken to but I know not everything is perfect.

Do you use cloud hosting? How have you found the service to be and would you recommend cloud hosting to someone who is looking into possibly using that kind of service?

I have not used cloud hosting. Cloud hosting is expensive services, I do not have resources for cloud hosting, and even if I had, I would not subscribe to cloud hosting because my websites do not need cloud hosting, I own small websites that mainly deal with written content, my websites do not have any kind of sensitive data.

I know nothing about it. What are some things which set it apart? It seems to be more expensive. Why is that the case?
