I have heard of fiverr Affiliate marketing but I have not tried. I think in fiverr Affiliate marketing, you would be paid a commission when someone through your link purchase any gig from fiverr. Actually, fiverr is not the only platforms doing this. I think upwork is also doing it.

I have tried it but it was difficult for me to make money because I was a new user and I did not have reputation like old users. I had to switch to Upwork.

I think it is majorly clients that you will be referring to freelancers. Whenever any job is completed you are paid a certain amount of money. Of course there are people that make some money with it.

You are right. One should not take fiverr affiliate marketing as a full-time job but as a side hustle because there would definitely be times when one would not be able to refer people.
