Tapatalk is known for such decisions since a long time. And, they survived at least a decade of it.

I have always used free, never paid. Not seen the necessity to for me personally at least anyways.

I guess if you buy out all of your competition, you're going to find a lot of people don't want to leave their forums which they may have made lots of progress with. I'm amazed if people actually like it though, I think it's horrific.

That and it's mad easy for them I'm sure.

It's not for everyone.

I remember trying out Joomla long time ago. It had so many settings that I was overwhelmed from the start. I could never figure out how to use it. I ended up using Drupal instead. And finally moved to WordPress.
