Graphic designing has created a new genre in art, it ia called digital painting or digiart. The evolution of digital art has not replaced the the fine art. Fine art is still sold for hefty price. There is still a huge market for paintings.

Graphic design is a form of art that uses computer aided images to make designs for commercial and private markets. Most designers design things like labels, packaging, and even clothing graphics. Art is a process of designing and completing works of art on canvas, mixed media, sculpture, and photography.

It's kind of different isn't? Graphic designing is mostly for business and way of monetising your talent depends on what your client wants. Fine arts is more of a self accomplishments where they need to look into themselves and find some inspiration to create a masterpiece.

With our computers and softwares different kinds of drawings can be done with great ease and pace.
Before now admirers of fine arts travel round the world to collect, keep and trade artworks, some of these piece are highly prized and kept for posterity.
Would it be right to say computer graphics is putting fine artworks out of business??
Businesses can now access state-of-the-art design on the basis of decrease in hardware and software costs. Graphic designing has emerged as a less costly option for majority of the businesses. One main cause is the progress of open supply software options such as WordPress and Magento. These systems permit the web designer to fabricate sites and graphics for very little investment. Design and amalgamating with graphics has gone from strength to strength.
With the early production of smartphones in 2007, things have changed. Smartphones did not evolve before ten years. Mobile phones have access to the net and the movement is towards mobile friendly sites. People have started realising the importance of mobile responsive graphics with the advancement of online technologies.

It has never replace fine art and drawing pictures only that the world has been developed in term of technology so the graphic design is moving so more faster than fine art. Moreso, some people still like fine art and drawing pictures.

Obviously graphics design has taken over from fine art and drawings. But in today's activities some people still cherish works from fine art most especially when the message is creative and inspiring.

There is no replacement of pure human talent. The main difference between a graphic designer or graphic artist is the importance of the imagery within the work. A graphic designer's main intention is to facilitate content, and a graphic artist's main intention is to facilitate an idea or story.

Well, not exactly. But the world is fast becoming digitalised. Almost everything around us has become replaced with a specific technology for doing it. The reason why computer graphic design has almost displaced fine arts and drawings is because it has more accuracy, depth, brighter and have more applications than drawings

There is no way that graphics and design can replace art and craft because they are both quite different and both have different enthusiast that appreciate them. People still has passion for artworks that are drawn with hands while graphics and design is just for translating colours to paper using the computer.

Graphic design is an art, a career, and an academic discipline whose activity entails projecting visual communications with specific messages for specific social groups and goals. As a result, it is an interdisciplinary branch of design[1] whose foundations and goals revolve around the identification of issues and the determination of decision-making objectives.

We now live in a digital world which is the tech world as well,so computer graphics is easy to use and get what you need in the next minute if you are good in using it rather than using fine art that may take all day before your get the good artwork you want.

Physical art crafting is very much relevant, even with the advent of technology which has made things easier for better drafting of art works. But there are still a lot of persons who are still in love with the craftmanship produced by the ingenuity fro the hands.

To some extent we can simply say graphics design has replaced it truly. A lot of people now prefer to do their graphics on the computer through different software and it's the best because you will get too notch design

The computer graphics have partially replaced the fine art and drawings because most of this are now done on the PCs but there are some graphic works that could not be done on PCs. Like drawing on the walls and drafting of pictures that should be done by hand.

Fine arts and graphic designing are two different things, and fine art will not be replaced by anything. There is no replacement of pure human talent. These days a lot of people are creating artwork on digital media, however, in order to create that artwork you should be an artist with the knowledge and skills on drawing.

Though graphic designing is more popular these days and it's wildly used by a lot of persons but I do not think it has completely replaced fine art. As fine art still has value in lots of places.

Inasmuch as there is knowledge explosion and technological advancement, ccomputer graphic design has not replaced the nature of fine arts. They both work in different facets.

it actually depends on what you want to use the art to do for example if you want it to be a symbol of business then obviously you must go for a digital graphic design but if you want something of history, culture, sometimes inspiration then you must go for something that has to do with drawing, digital drawing has not fully taken over the fine art you are talking about.

No it hasn't, though it has made a lot of things easier. The truth is that AI cannot be and wouldn't be able to do what humans can do and we can confirm this through the fact that a hand drawn portrait is still valued by lots of people.
