Our government has been very supportive especially when it comes to youth employment. It has set up measures to give the youth start-up capital for their businesses. The government has also gone ahead to train the youth in modern employable skills that have enabled them to start up businesses for themselves.

There once was a president who has that program of lending money for the business capital. There was no collateral required so many have borrowed. Unfortunately 99% of those who borrowed money did not pay back and just a small fraction of them made a start up. In other words the government was scammed.

The government should have had a way of recovering these debts. There are people that will struggle to pay money as long as they know that there are no consequences that will arise once they don't pay the money that they borrowed. So, in other words, the government were careless in handling that situation.

The government of my country doesn't care whether your business is a small scale or large scale, they will tax the business and even be willing to over tax it. They don't give any kind of support for most businesses and they don't even provide good security. Businesses pay third party security companies to secure their businesses.
