What do you think of Google Plus? I personally don't like it. However, that is because none of my friends use it and much less to do with the actual usefulness of the service/site.

Do any of you use it? Would you recommend it? Is it worth it to try and get some friends to go use that instead of Facebook?

I really liked it, although it just died out in my eyes because all my friends who aren't active on forums or other websites didn't even know G+ existed! If it was more popular, then I'd be 100% up for using it actively.

Yeah it all comes down to who you know that uses a service. Facebook wouldn't be my social network of choice if my friends were not all on it. However, they are...so it works out!
I wonder if Facebook will ever die out...

I hope it does, I have a strange hate for Facebook; yet I still use it daily..

You most likely use it because your friends are there. Well I'm assuming...
If all my friends hung out at a crappy old tavern I'd go there. I may try to convince them to go to the palace down the street that has cheaper food and drinks however, if they don't go I wouldn't go either.

Exactly, most people know that Facebook is shit.. yet they can't leave due to the social convention forcing us to stay.

I think google plus is a good social network to find personal and business contacts and stay in touch with them.
