I've been thinking a lot about what it truly means to chase a dream or a goal, especially after realizing a critical truth: when you choose the benefits of an action, you inherently choose its drawbacks too.

For instance, if you dream of being an RPG author, it's not just about the thrill of publishing your work and signing books. You're also signing up for long, lonely hours in front of your computer, wrestling with words and plotlines.

This duality of success reminds us that achieving anything significant requires embracing both the glamorous and the gritty aspects of the journey. The visible rewards are enticing, but the behind-the-scenes effort is substantial and often overlooked.
  • What goals are you pursuing and what are the less glamorous aspects you've had to embrace?
  • How do you keep motivated when the going gets tough and the rewards are not in sight?

Having a goal and meeting the goal are two different things. Meeting the goal is not only about your skills and knowledge or how hard you try. Sometimes it might not just happening to you, no matter how badly you want and how much effort you put on it. The most important thing is understanding whether the thing you want to do is meant for you or not. Earlier you understand this, better you are positioned for success in your project.
