Expensive Hosting Server You Ever own.

Hi people.

What's the most expensive hosting server that you brought. What's the specs and details that you get with the cost factor. I'm a member on a 12-year-old site that gets over 100K traffic a day to over 800K members. The site is GTA related. Point saying years ago I remember talking to one of the head admins and said that they pay like $3400 a year on the server to security.

When it comes to having and running a site that gets big and bigger to the point that it becomes so much money, so much so that affording it becomes crazy. That's why that website has adverts so large that makes people rage from having a slow site with ads.

Traffic is what matters in a website. If a website owner builds that large traffic count on his website that will attract lots of advertisers and they'll partner with the webmaster to generate money.

I pay less than $6 per month for hosting my websites. This is a low cost hosting considered the fact that I am hosting a lot of website. However, website maintainence is high because I also have to pay for domain renewal and ssl renewal.

At the end you'll need a lot of traffic to keep you in business. And at some point you will be needing a lot of web space to accommodate that traffic you're getting.

That's correct. But you can continue using shared hosting until large traffic builds on your website. However, for a lot of websites owner this does not happen.

I don't believe in using very expensive hosting services as they are just ways to siphon someone's money because hosting services is not a very important part of a website that one needs to spend too much money on.

I do not have subscribed to any hosting services. However, when I am ready to host my first website, I will be looking for the cheapest service, maybe $1 per month hosting.

I don't pay that large sum of money for hosting my site on any server. I pay withing my budget and still make sense of my choice at the end of the day.
