Has there ever been a time where you were forced out of your job because of a mistake someone else made? Well I haven't had this happen to me, but I know someone who worked with a group of people. This group was hired on a contract basis. One of the people working in said group stole from the company and instead of getting rid of that guy, they fired the whole crew and cancelled their contract.

Has anything like this happened to you?

Oh damn, this is painful and not something that I would want to experience. Being relieved of my duties because of an error someone committed is one thing that I don't want to experience. Yes, people make mistakes, but punishing others for a mistake of one person is not good at all.

This kind of a thing have not happened to me and I would be very disgruntled if I face this kind of a situation as a result of someone's mistake.

I'm not going to take it lightly with the person because I will so deal with him that he's going to regret in his life why he decide to be a thief.

Identification of the person who made the mistake should be quite important. It may be possible that the employee may never intend to do anything wrong by mistake. In such kind of cases, I would be lenient enough to forgive people. We all make mistakes and we all deserve a chances to mend our ways.

Looking at this from another angle, I believe that the company that contracted the group of people to handle that job didn't treat the whole situation in the right manner. I believe that as long as they have found out the person that's stole from the complication, they should simply discipline the person and eliminate him or her from working with the group while those people that are trustworthy should still be allowed to do their jobs and not cancel the contract.

I've never found myself in this kind of misfortune. I've this mindset about making sure to find trustworthy people to work with so I won't have to face this kind of problem. If the group that experienced this misfortune knew everyone who's part of group to be reliable, they won't face this setback.

I have not been forced to give up the job for the mistake I did not make. I do not think people are forced to give up their jobs for a mistake they did not commit. Unless there is a confusion and they do not give you a chance to speak, I do not think anyone would be forced to give up job.

I think you are right. When people who are working get to be sacked for something that they didn't do, then a lot is happening at the workplace. The manager should be able to understand why and what is happening and who the real culprits are when a challenge pops up.

Sometimes firing can happen without any valid reasons. For instance, if your manager does not like you and he wants to create a position in the company so that he can have his own guy to work on the job, you can be fired.

No dear, we must investigate about mistake and the reason behind mistake that why the mistake happen. It's not the right way to kick out an employee without knowing the genuine reason.

Well, in a situation where you don't have any kind of authority when it comes to investigating whatever happened with the mistake, there is nothing you can be able to do about it.

The management will decide exactly how they want to handle the problem and if they are going to be biased about it, the whole group is going to suffer the consequences.

Yh I was forced out of a job for a mistake someone else made,my workplace had serious politics in it meaning you have to kiss up to the bosses to be on their good side,I didn't kiss up to them so I took the fall most times till I was forced out

This is just like asking your employees to become your slave simply because they are getting paid salary by the business owner.

I'm the kind of person that is going to find it very difficult to do this kind of thing because it is not part of the reason why I was employed.

If working is not the only thing they expect from me, then I will definitely quit from the job.

Well, I am sorry to hear that. However, politics is a very common issue in many workplaces. As a result of that, many people suffer a lot. The fact of the matter remains that it could be a very hard thing to work in such kind of place where workplace politics is a common issue. Such kind of problems should be eliminated as soon as possible in order to make things straightforward.

Personally, I don't have any business with getting involved with any kind of politics that goes on in my workplace. This is because I know very well that most of the time, it doesn't go well and some people - the unfortunate one's ends up being made the scape goat. In my country, politics is a very dangerous and dirty game even in businesses.

This is a behaviour of a very wicked manager. They don't care how what they do would affect the person they are doing it. They simply don't care as long as they are satisfied with their acts of wickedness. How can someone derive joy from causing another person pains?

I would rather resign in peace then have myself being disrespected and humiliated like this in any company. Once I start getting the feeling that my services are no longer required, I will simply resign and move onto the next job that I'm going to apply for.

Well, I think that it is much better to leave a workplace where you may get blamed for someone's else's mistake. This is something people should realise before they even get blamed for doing something they never wanted to do in the first place.

I have never experienced that but I believe It's possible, although it's not always fair. In some cases, a company may fire someone to save face or to avoid any potential legal issues. However, it's important to remember that just because someone was fired for a mistake made by someone else, it doesn't mean that they are responsible for the mistake. It's also worth noting that there are labor laws in place to protect employees from being wrongfully terminated.

I think that if you keep things straightforward and simple, then you can avoid getting fired due to someone's else's mistake. If you tend to allow people to take advantage, then they will certainly put a lots of blame on you and this is how others can get away with things.
