Ethical or Un-Ethical Businesses

Advertisement Placeholder
I think what we would termed as ethical mght not be in another clime, but there are universal ethical conduct that does not go against humanity, example when there is a comflict in a region, and what a merchant would want to do is look for a way to be supplying guns to the parties involved, this is not ethical.

This is a function of culture and environment. For instance, selling alcohol is considered as unethical bhsiness in some countries whereas some countries make their huge money from it as it is seen as ethical.

I think it's relative. What we see as ethical in our country might be unethical in other countries is vise versa. In my country, one of the businesses or companies that are unethical are alcohol production companies Ana marijuana

I think it depends on the religion and culture at play there. Like there is a place in my country whereby eating of dog meat is normal, they see it as a good business but right here at my location, though there might be people who eat dog meat but it is very rare and doing such business is seen as unethical at my location.

Ethical businesses respect and promote human morals, standard and culture among it's community while Unethical businesses does the opposite. Unethical business can be in form of selling of sex( pornography and co), dealing in dark web where companies buy bank logs and hack into people's bank account to steal and many others.

What I consider as an ethical firm of business is those kind of business organisation that is in line with humanity or in accordance to the law of the state while the other hand is the unethical which comprise of harmful substances and equipment which is against the law and the human origin.

Can you think of any companies or business which would be considered ethical or unethical? Which ones and why?
I will say that unethical businesses are those businesses that lack morals, like the companies dealing with hard illegal drugs, companies that hire sex workers, companies that produce fake products, companies that carry out human trafficking.
Other companies doing just right are to be considered ethical.

I hardly come across any unethical company and such is seen to lack the ethics of an organization which wouldn't let the company expand.

It's all about beliefs. There are states that abolish termination of pregnancy and consider it unethical. There are states that accepts it. Depends on where

This I feel is based on the definition of the ethical,to me words,I don't think any registered business is unethical except an illegal once

No matter the culture or religion, there's always a general code of ethics in any business or organization. I hardly come across unethical businesses but some of those deviant behaviours are; trafficking of human, smoking during working hours where other workers that don't smoke and bullying are all unethical.

Unethical businesses could include selling of hard drugs especially where it has been prohibited, human trafficking, etc. They are rarely done in the open so its hard to come across them

Can you think of any companies or business which would be considered ethical or unethical? Which ones and why?
Well, I don't know if I could think of any companies or business organizations that would be considered ethical or unethical because I don't know any of them for now but I open the thread to know and learn more from those who know about it.

Ethical business of course, unethical businesses are not healthy for our reputation and therefore are termed illegal business. There include selling of cocaine, drugs and the likes.

Currently so many business have loss their ethics of business all they focus more is just the profit of the business and how to make more sales

A busness being ethical or unethical might not be as clear cut as you think you see it. A lot of cultural difference may permit for the variations in what some may call or concider to be ethical and unethical

Ethical business because...its truly ethical company will be one that is not causing damage to the environment, exploiting its workforce by paying low wages, using child labour, or producing products which are harmful or dangerous.

Well, I think these days it is hard to draw a line between what is ethical and unethical because so many ideologies seeming to support things we consider unethical seem to be rampant. Some things are unethical based on religious beliefs which is complete balderdash to others, so the question remains where do we draw the line.

I believe that all businesses are created with the sole aim of making profit and I prefer to stick to that but they are some kind of business is like funding or making money through terrorism or selling off weapons of massive destruction that I think I cannot engage in.
