Ethical business is a business in line with the law of the country wherever you may be in while unethical is illegal....For example banking,teaching..these are professional and well respected..unethical can be prostitution and sales of alcohol and hard drugs.

Can you think of any companies or business which would be considered ethical or unethical? Which ones and why?

I think that there are many food manufacturing companies in my city that have been involved in unethical practices. There are many restaurants that prepare unhygienic food. This is a very big problem in the country where I live. Some companies prepare sub-standard products and people still buy them, unfortunately.

If a business is to be termed as unethical, it means it is illegal in that particular location.
In my country, sale of marijuana is considered unethical, if caught...the defaulter would face the law.

The country's laws define whether the business is ethical or unethical. In my home country, crypto currencies are illegal, therefore, if you are dealing with cryptos, you are doing unethical business. But in the US it is not unethical.
