Creating unnecessary rules that will make you hostile towards your customer will always be a negative effect on your business , because your customer will always leave and stop people from patronising you because of your harsh behaviour.

That is why I said it will not bring any positive development to your business but rather it will create a lot of problems and might even leads to business stagnation as you have explained it above. Have you experience it before? You seems to talk with experience.

A business will flourish if the employer and the employee understand each other and treat each other with great love and high esteem, but if the boss does not care about his employees, they may not work well or treat the customer well.
One of the quality hat any business owner should possess.is the ability to properlly read and understand his employees, his relationship with them should not just be on official basis, but should extent to their personal lives.

You are on the right track; nevertheless, in order for an employee to still regard and respect his employer, there needs to be reciprocal respect and understanding between the two parties.

The relationship between the two parties must be formal. When it is formal, they will have respect for each other, and also respect for the business. Once this is archived the business will grow properly the way it is suppose to. Also there must be good relationship aside work.
As a employers you don't really be so close to their employees in order to for them to have respect, it is not that you not discuss will them, but employers need to be strict.

It is indeed very important to establish and nurture this kind of relationship bin any business or organization because it would go a long way to improve on the business growth and development.

In a situation where there is no relationship at all between the boss and the workers the business has a little chance of moving forward because the workers have a capacity of making sure your business is moving forward. So it is a very good thing for a worker to have a good rapport with the boss

The relationship between an employer and employee is crucial to the development of a firm; the boss must be friendly with his or her staff members as well as readily available and approachable.

Both of them should have a decent and friendly friendship. It shouldn't transcend beyond business, and even if it does, it shouldn't allow the employee to treat the employer disrespectfully.

Yes there's always this relationship between employer and employees, if you are working under someone you'll understand what I mean but we sometimes have a harsh employers that doesn't appreciate our efforts.

On this, I completely concur with the OP. I don't understand why so many bosses enjoy it when their staff members are terrified of them. I think being firm, fair, and accommodating makes more sense. Your staff members ought to feel at ease working for you and not view you as some terrifying monster. Their performance will improve and their happiness will increase the happier they are in the setting you create. They will also sincerely respect and like you. It's not particularly complicated.
