There are series of domain hosting websites online. I know a lots of them are good at registering domain name and hosting it for the users. But, no matter how good a platform may be, another better platform will definitely spring up to challenge the old one. Base on that, I want to hear people's opinion on the best domain and hosting site for the beginners.

For me, by far, it is namecheap. I even use their hosting. It is reliable and you can get amazing deals during the holidays. After it comes goddady.com as a strong contender due to the 1$ .com sales (for your first .com).
Right now namecheap is having a sale for the holidays, and I took the liberty of buying a domain, and might buy another one or two.

By the way, the proper word for the company that sells domain is "domain registrar" and the company that provides hosting solution is "web host." In most cases, the domain registrar is also web host.

Looks like you and I have the same preference. I also have my domain and hosting with namecheap.

Web hosting and domain hosting, though closely related, are two different services. Web hosts allow users to create and store content, like a website, on Internet servers. Domain hosts provide domain names, which help visitors access your web content.
Ways to own a domain web hosing
Register a domain name,Code your website.
Find out what your IP address is.
Point your domain name to the IP address of your computer.
Find out if your ISP supports hosting.
Ensure your computer at home can support hosting.
Ensure your computer is secured.

At the end of the day all of them are same except few features which might be not used by most of webmasters, if you want to have good one that two thing is key for me. One is support which should be 24*7 and second thing is up time.

I personally am using the godaddy and namecheap. I am happy with those resources as of now. I don't see any strong reason to make use of any other domain registration as of yet. In near future things may be a bit different. In order to comply with fees they may increase the price. I think if you want you can also use external services like hawkhost etc.

I'm a website developer and I relate and buy domain a lot. The best market place for me to buy domain name and hosting still remains Namecheap, there service is top notch and I don't see myself leaving them at the moment

If you want a cheap domain with little to no control to your nameservers (which is discouraged if you are a true enthusiast about web development) you may go with NameCheap , they offer domain support for your average website needs of your average website, however if you want advanced access into your DNS controls, logs and settings , you may want to check somewhere else, you don't really have to get it a whole package(domain and hosting) by the way, i'd check GoDaddy's excluse offer if you're into setting your Api's yourself.

If you are just starting out, look for hosting that offers free domain. Shared hosting is the best option for newbies. When buying hosting, check whether they offer free ssl or not. Also look for the bandwith and diskapace they are offering.

As a beginner in the domain hosting service I would recommend that you make use of name cheap as the website is a very easy to navigate and their service is quite cheap and affordable so it will be very good for a beginner to make use of it.

Namecheap is a very affordable and a very user friendly Domaine platform you can always count on when it comes to domains suitable for begginers. I'll surggest you go for namecheap

You can choose between namecheap, ipage or hostgator. These hosting companies offer low cost hosting. iPage and hostgator even offers free domain for th first year
