General Does the gender of an admin have any effect on the community?

I am a woman myself but so far all of my staff members are men, by choice. My forum has a gender imbalance and I prefer the women that are there to be active in "visible positions", i.e., posting in threads or having conversations with the people there, and so I give the men the "job titles" and the more invisible work (although admittedly I'm doing most of that myself, except pictures posting).
