Does Drupal compare to Wordpress?

Honest thoughts, does Drupal really compare to Wordpress as a CMS?

After reading an interesting article by Elegant Themes, I honestly have to say Drupal and Wordpress differ on a lot. I honestly never thought about how secure Drupal is compared to Wordpress, considering all the plugins Wordpress as vs Drupals. However for me it's really a no brainer, Wordpress is the best in my opinion. It's updated all the time, and I'm not much of a developer to really utilize Drupals' tools.

How does Drupal compare to Wordpress for you guys? =o

I feel as if it's for different niches. I believe Wordpress really beats it or, but it has its place.

I know a lot of government sites use Drupal.
