Do you think robots will replace humans at workplaces in the next 10 years?

Because robots have replaced humans in many jobs, the next ten years could be worse than the current one in terms of unemployment rates around the world.

I think it is more likely that the western culture might absorb the utilize of robots a part prior than African nations, but laying off specialists in put of a robot may be a given in organizations and companies

It's getting more worse daily because people are loosing their job at the expense of the robot taking away people's job and it will be far more worse in the next ten years .

Technology is indeed making the impossible possible, but in the aspects of robots taking human place completely in working places is absolutely impossible. Humans are the master of all and without humans on Earth no single task can be completely complete

Most probably yes. With the ways things are going, it's hard to avoid this scenario. If not in 10 years, then it will be case for sure in 100 years. We can't avoid technology in our daily lives and we can make use of it to avoid physical injuries as well.

However this could be a bad thing for people as they might no longer be needed in those jobs. So, it's better for us to plan everything so that we wouldn't have to face the crisis of unemployment anytime soon.

There are certain jobs where we can't use robots and humans are needed in controlling certain aspects of such jobs. Apart from that, everything else would be controlled by AI for sure.

I was watching a video on YouTube and one person was claiming that the voice conversation apps that have now been developed e.g. WhatsApp voice notes, Twitter space and Clubhouse are being used to see how humans speak, think and react to situations.

These voices will then be incorporated as AI technology in robots in the future to replace humans at work

How true do you think this is and is it imminent?

I Think that the Robots might replace in humans in some companies only because not all the companies could afford such kind of technology. There are many small businesses that still rely a lot on labours.

Yh, I agree....not all jobs will be done with ROBOTS. And also, the robots will even need human in their production. So therefore, they can't replace everybody.

This is an accurate point. Even though, the presence of robots will limit human unemployment to a minimum, robots will need humans to function well in different ways, no doubt.

Yh, true talk. Due to this, I suggest that we should now target some jobs that will earn us some cash as a result of the presence of robots in the next years to come.

Robots will undoubtedly replace most human jobs, but humans will still be required to assist in controlling and repairing these robots. Technically, they can't function without us.

I agree with this. It is important to learn skills and be proficient in these areas in order for humans to be relevant concerning employment when the use of robots become more mainstream.

I think that robots will replace humans at workplaces in the next 10 years, but not in every industry. I believe this because I have seen a lot of companies automate simple tasks and have realized that it's cheaper for them to hire someone to do these tasks than it is to buy and maintain a robot. That being said, there are some tasks that are better suited for automation than others.

For example, if you're working in an environment where there's a lot of repetitive data entry, a computer program might be able to do that better than you could. If you're working in an environment where there's a lot of repetitive manual labor, then a robot might be able to do that better than you could.
Robots may take over some jobs, but they won't take over all jobs in the next 10 years (or ever).

One of the reason that I suggest that ROBOTS are going to REPLACE human being in TERMS of EMPLOYMENT is that, as humans, we do get TIRED when we work, BUT ROBOTS does NOT.

This is a major factor that will fast track the replacement of humans with robots. Another reason is that, corporations are more likely to gravitate towards robot use because there will be no payments made to robots.

Yep and as HUMANS, we are most like to ask for more or increase in our payment (salary). But guess what, ROBOTS can work 24/7 without asking for single PENNY.

This is true, the ability to work constantly at any time definitely makes robots more effective than humans. With that being said, robots are also prone to faults.

And that's where human beings come in to the assistance. Even though some machine might be developed to fix or repair faulty robots. But human will play a major role in the repairing process

I agree with you here. It is the responsibility of the humans to fix and repair the robots when they become faulty. This obviously generates employment for specialists who are humans.

Due to this, I suggest that we should look out for those areas in terms of employment. Instead of fighting with robots for employment, we should rather solve their problems.
