Do you still ask sites to share your link?

Extending hands of friendship for business to other similar sites like the one one has is a good thing and a good strategy in trying to get and also generate traffic toy your own sites too. You will have to make a lot of such type requests to make headway since you don't know which will accept you or not.

Even though I don't have any site at the moment, I do know that this kind of strategy will really help to generate traffic as it is a 50/50 situation, but it should be a proper arrangement from both parties. That is my opinion.

It is a good form of promotion but the issue is many people also want to reach more crowd theirby customer an unnecessary charges or fee

I do not as website owners to share my links. I no longer believe in that kind of tactics, I believe in organic backlink building when you get organic backlink, your site will have true value.

I do not ask sites to share my links but I do share my links on Facebook pages and Facebook groups in as many groups as possible that I can. I like your analysis though

This is as old as the internet. When I first started making sites, I would often reach out to similar sites/services and see if we could get each others links on each others sites. It has helped a lot in the past, as it also becomes a friendship down the road sometimes.

Do you still do this? If not, I highly recommend trying it, as you never know what site may say yes to including your site for you including theirs on yours.
I think site owner still do this because have also notice it in bizdustry as well, the admin will send every member a direct message to signup on a new website like that I guess.

I have never done this before but the strategy of sharing links on website has been followed by many people who were advised by SEO experts to share their links on sites. In the past, there used to be many article directories that were being used by many people where the writers used to write articles and share backlinks. However, nowadays, I do not see many article directories. Ezinearticles is one of the best article directories. However, they do not pay you to write articles for them.

I don't think it is something I spend tondo anymore inline in the early days when one was just starting with his online businesses is a very small scale

There are more modernised way to build traffic on a website than this former system of sharing links in a website when you can market your site online.

That is a really good idea you have there. It makes it so easy for both sites to promote each other. It truly creates friendship too, which is good for advertisement and gaining the traffic you need.

Well, to the best of my knowledge, even if you share your links to be shares or posted for you, most websites or forums or even social media sites don't allow it any more.

I believe i have heard about this before, but i dont really think it is still as popular right now as it was back then, as some are not quit aware of these, though am pretty sure these sites still function but it will not be as popular again as many people now use social media to promote their links

Yes it's a very good form of promoting sites without spending much, but right now I prefer giving out my website to a good promoter to help me promote the website.

Well, in my opinion it's actually a very good idea to use the same method to promote one's website but as a result of increasing spams, most people frown 🙁 at it now.

Life has really gone beyond begging someone to promote your links. You can easily do that using the right medium. You only need to be active on social media where you can easily promote your links.
Asking websites to promote your links is a paid service so many sites are offering such service but it is a paid service there is no website that shares your link for free then what is benefit of owner to pay for hosting if he shares others websites for free?

This is a very good idea and I do not think any website owner would disagree with you on this as it is a win win situation for the both of you.

If you can ask the admin of the sites like Bizdustry to share your links among he users, I thin you have high chance of getting visitors on your sites, or even sign ups.

I think you have a great idea. You can promote your links through bizdustry admin's messaging system. You can reach to over 7k people in no time.

If I get you right, your talking about back link here. Back link is a good way to increase your website traffic and it helps in ranking high in search engine optimization. You can add people to give you a guess posting it will help you so much

Well.... This method is not only applicable to website owners and i think its applicable to all business in one area or the other sharing each others product.
