Nairaland and Twitter is not for comparison, Twitter is more recognized to naira land. Nairaland may grow up to be well recognized too over time.

This is question is actually directed towards the Nigerians on this platform do you see nairaland competing with twitter in the future naira land is a platform just like twitter but it doesn't really have nice interface like twitter but with the proposal to regulate social media do you think this platform can become Nigeria own twitter
Well yes, I'll say it has the potential to do well like Twitter, it was in the top 3 category of most visited websites for 2020. But the interface needs to be changed like you observed it's not so kool

Yes and very soon , nairaland will be competing with Twitter because nairaland has more features than twitter, its just because it is owned by a Nigerian that's why is still behind Twitter but soon I beleive it will surpass Twitter.

They are both separate in their functions in the digital space, so there will be no need to be talking about comparing both platforms at all

You're right. Their is no meaning to compare the two. And also the two work differently. Nairaland operate as a forum while twitter is a social media site.

Nairaland can,but i don't think it will surpass twitter due to the traffic and number of users it generates over a period of time, plus twitter is more popular.

I think they are both different things entirely, nairaland being a forum has it's use and Twitter on the other hand, a social media platform also has its own use, but personally I don't see nairaland rivalling or dispelling Twitter anytime soon

Definitely different platform but in general, talking about social concepts..nairaland can't stand where Twitter is..Twitter as and international presence/network.its more vast in everything than nairaland, common!.
