Do people still reject handshake in your locality?

With COVID on, people practically stopped shaking hands as it's a means of spreading the virus and having one exposed. Till today, there are still some people who don't agree to a handshake as a result of COVID.

Do people still shake hands freely in your locality?

It's actually quite strange because I've never been one for shaking hands, but usually the correct etiquette when conducting interviews is to shake hands with the candidate, and it just feels so odd not doing it when I'm doing interviews. I think it's one of these unspoken things now, you don't know if the other person is fine with the contact, so you just don't do it.

I never rejected handshakes, not even in Covid times. It's the first thing I do when greeting someone.

Unless I noticed that someone's hands were really dirty or they have some kind of body fluid on them, then it'd be hard for me to reject a handshake from someone.
