Displaying a list of banned members - okay or not okay?

So, I have been on some forums that list banned members, the reason why, and when their ban is going to expire. Though, this kind of brings up an issue of almost privacy - is it right ti display banned members on a list, with their reasons of being banned? Or is it justified?

I generally don't like to disclose ban reasons. It just seems really unprofessional to me.

They might have been banned but it's an issue of privacy - I don't join forums that publically display a ban list. It's unprofessional, it really is.
