Differences between Saving and investment

With limited financial capacity, I would prefer savings than investment because it has lesser risks yet lesser opportunity to increase its amount. If you have some amount to spare beyond savings, investment could bring-forth opportunities for your money. It really depends on one's financial condition.

There is a lot of difference between saving and investment. The only issue is that before you can invest, you must save. Saving is keeping money aside for a particular usage in the future while investment is allowing your money to wor for you.

Indeed savings are investment while some investment are not savings. When you are saving, it implies you keep your Money for a period of time either in a bank or any saving cooperation. Most times, interest are added to your savings. While investment often times deal with risks. When you are investing, you are simply using your money for a business deal of whatever kind to generate profits for you

savings is a just accumulation of wealth of money to achieve a certain target with respect to time while investment is putting your money into business for the purpose of making profit with respect to time.

savings and investment are two distinct things
Savings are for those who are Afriad of losing their money, while investments is for those who are ready to get more money with the little they have not withstanding the risk
I will advise anyone anytime to go for investment, because that is the best way to spend your money this days

Saving and investing often are used interchangeably, but there is a difference. Saving is setting aside money you don't spend now for emergencies or for a future purchase. ... Investing is buying assets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds or real estate with the expectation that your investment will make money for you.

I agree that savings is not the same as investment and they are 2 different animals, so to speak. For me, savings is the money that is lying in storage, whether in the piggy bank, in the home safety vault or in a bank deposit. Usually the savings can be used anytime that most people have cash in home for their savings in case of emergency. Investment is putting the money in a business so it will earn much more than when kept in the bank. But take note that an investment has greater risk than the savings although it also has a greater chance of earnings.

Saving and Investment are not the same terms. But are good strategies with respect to the business. If you want to start or expand your business, then you have to make an investment otherwise you can save, for later usage. I would like prefer to investment because investment will multiply your money.

Saving and investment are actually two different words. Savings has to do with keeping funds while investment is about adding funds into a business with the intention of make profits

I think both are best but saving is much better because it has no risky task as on other hand investment causes some fallen conditions so i will prefer that saving is suitable as compared to investing

Savings are altogether not quite the same as a venture on numerous viewpoints. Savings should be made by keeping aside an amount of cash from one's month to month profit, consistently. Fundamentally, a transient saving can help you meet prompt monetary requirements, for example, purchasing a vehicle, orchestrating a wedding, arranging an occasion trip or the consequences will be severe, making a critical blessing. Continuously remember that reserve funds are intended for meeting transient objectives and henceforth, they should be stopped in a venture which is safer. Subsequently, it will yield less returns yet the venture will stay safe.

Notwithstanding, Investment includes an enormous amount of cash, which can be put aside in high yielding choices that convey a lot of danger. This cash is intended to meet your drawn out monetary objectives, for example, retirement and schooling of children. Be set up to acquire more significant yields on your investment when contrasted with savings.

The words 'Saving' and 'Investments' are sometimes used interchangeably by most folks.
The two words have some similarities but that doesn't make them the same.

"There's a popular saying that Savings are investments, but not all investments are savings"

Saving actually means keeping some amount of money aside to meet long or short-term needs which may not yield any profit and it attracts zero risk.

On the other Hand, investment means putting money into a business or venture to yield profits within a specific period with risks depending on the targeted roi.w
Your description regarding saving and investment is highly appreciated. Good interpretation. Its true when we say saving means put aside money for our future or troublesome time. Same as you discussed investmen, we put our saving in some valuable business which can give money again. So saving and investment is just like rotational circle.

Saving is that part of one's income that is set aside for future uses. These uses maybe for emergencies that may arise in the future or for the execution of an upcoming projects. This money does not increase much and it's not risky.
While investment is the money spent on a business or project that has the capability of bringing in profit or high returns for the investor. This is a very risky initiative as the business or venture may fail and so there result in loss for the investor.

Difference between savings and investment is so wide, when you save your money just lie down although sometimes you get a few increase in your money but investment is more or less making your money work for you and every month you get a return on investment

Different between saving and investment, there are a lots of different because it is good to invest than to save. Saving will not give you any gain, so I prefer investment.

Many people usually confuse these two words, unknown to them that they are entirely different from each other. Savings generally have low interest rate when compared to investment. And savings are usually for short period of time while investments takes longer time.

Too much difference in both because saving amount stay on one place and investment increase your and give you good amount of business and investment money can make you rich but you can't become rich from savings.

These are two different words that means two different things. Saving is the process of setting aside money you don’t want to spend now for emergencies or future purchases while investment is the process of setting money to work in order to make more money. One is basically keeping money and the other is making money work for you.

Every one have its own definition of investment and savings according to his own needs and demands, i think investment is an side job to take risk that amount which we gave guts to loose and saving is that amount that we need incredibly necessarily.

Simply....Savings involve putting your money in the bank where you're charged for the safekeeping..
Investment is Putting your Money on a business that gives you your money back plus additional money called return on investment
