Sales has to do with selling products, a sells personnel makes sure he find suitable buyers and make sales to them, marketing has to do with advertising a product, convincing buys on why they should purchase the product which u have for them to buy

What do you believe is the contrast between both?
I believe that marketing and advertisement is the soul of every business, because without marketing you cannot attract active customers.
So by advertisement, you can easily enlist the features of your products for getting the traffic of clients and customers to enhance the sales.
 
I think there is a little difference in sales and marketing in the context of buying and selling. If we are talking about sales then we are talking about the overall sales activities in terms of stocking and selling out your products and again marketing is the form of advertising your products to your customers or the general public to make more sales
 
It is marketing that makes sales possible infact when there is aggressive marketing there will be massive sale of goods and services to the point that your brand will become an household name in the business world.

The difference between marketing and sales lies in how close you are to converting a potential customer to an actual customer.


Marketing encompasses the strategies you use to reach new leads and generate interest in your business. It should have measurable benchmarks so that you can judge which marketing choices are cost-effective and produce results. Depending on your business.
