There are some common terminologies in seo, some of these terminologies are really confusing for someone like me who has started learning seo recently. I usually hear experts talk about inbound links and outbound links. What is inbound link, what is outbound link? How does these links help our site?

An outbound link, also called an external link, is a link from your website to a different website. An outbound link for you is an inbound link for someone else. If a link takes readers to another page on the same website, it's called an internal link.Inbound links are links that come from other websites or a different domain name. Outbound links are those links on your website that link out to websites with a different domain name

Inbound links and outbound links are both onpage search engine optimization strategy to increase ranking for a blog. In inbound linl the blogger will link different articles on his or her blog together and another name for it is internal linking while outbound link is a link that links to another blog or Website from your own url

An outbound link , also called an external link ,is a link from your website to a different website. An outbound for you is an in bound for someone else. If a link takes readers to another page on the same website, it's called an internal link.

I am not familiar with these terms about the link if it is outbound or inbound. With the SEO there are so many terms that they have invented and I wonder when it will stop. Maybe you can build a glossary of terms like a small dictionary to contain all the invented words about links like the outbound link, inbound link, backlink, keyword, keyphrase and many others. Anyway, thank you for the information that I learned from this thread.

Unbound links are links that come from other websites or a different domain name. Outbound links are those links in your website that links out to websites with a different domain name. If a link takes readers to another page on the same website, it's called an internal links.

Outbound links are those links on your website that link out to websites with a different domain name.Rather than another site having a link to your website (a backlink), outbound links are when you include a link to an external site on your blog page or website. Outbound links are not as important for your website's SEO as backlinks, but they are important when it comes to blogging!

Inbound links, also known as backlinks, occur when another website links back to your site. Google views inbound links as an indicator that your site has high-quality content, making these links one of the most important elements in search engine optimization while Outbound links are those links on your website that link out to websites with a different domain name.

An inbound connection (likewise alluded to as a back connection) is a hyperlink on an outsider page that focuses to a website page on your webpage.

Outbound connections are joins that are intended to take you somewhere else. These are joins that are going to guide you to another particular page or site through and through. Most, if not all, sites have outbound connections. Different sides of a coin. There are two (2) sorts of outbound connections.

I m not fully about the this type of link but I heard it little bit inbound link and outbound I think it is external link is outbound link it's link you create in website or blog but inbound link is not your link it's create to other person but create in our website and blogs

I think I have a little idea of what it means. Just like the name implies, inbound link would be directing to different pages but still on the same website.

But outbound link would be directing you to different websites entirely.

Inbound link is the link pointing to your website from another website. Another word for inbound link is backlink. Backlink is off page seo as you can build backlink only from another website. Internal linking is different from inbound link. Please do not confuse these two terms. Internal linking is linking another page within the same domain, where as inbound link is a link pointed to your domain on another site.

The difference between inbound and outbound links is best understood by what you are trying to accomplish.
Outbound links are links you create, to link to other websites. The reason you do this is that sites with links to high-authority sites (in other words, "good" sites according to the search engines) can raise your own score. so long as they are directly related to your content.
Your goal with outbound links is to add links to your own content, which are useful to your visitors. A good example would be a blog post that referenced software tools useful to the reader.
Inbound links are links created on other sites which link back to you. In the old days (circa 2002) this is a nasty practice involving link farms, but with the rise of the blogosphere getting a link to your site is extremely valuable.

Inbound links are the best thing that your link can do and has the best benefit on your website on your website for SEO purposes. An inbound link is when your website link is anywhere else on the internet and it points to your site.
Outbound link are the exact opposite of inbound links. Outbound links are links from your website leading to another website and his blog is full of them.
