I'm hearing a lot of people saying that Google did an update today (or on the 4th) and also seeing tweets saying that the update affects less than 1% of sites. That's still alot of sites though! So is it true or am I just going crazy? :p

May be they did the update, but never did anything about the PR. :(
I think google is going to ditch PR if not already did that!

I don't believe it was a PR update, rather like an actual ranking sort of update (don't know how to explain) xD Either way, this is old news now so I'll stop grabbing my shovel and digging. xD

I disagree, PR wont be ditched anytime soon. It is still important, I think they changed the way people obtain PR :) And for the update the might did something minor and didnt announce it

I believe this 'Matt Cutt' fellow did mention something about it on the day it was said to be released. It was minor but still affected a fair amount of people from what I've been reading.

I see, I read the blog and its about keyword stuffing which used to do a lot of good to some sites, and I think Ill need to check some of my keywords right now XD
