Self learning in Blogging is very good for those who don’t want to spend to learn or those who don’t want mentorship. But self learning in Blogging can be time consuming. It might could take 2 - 4 years(or maybe months or even hours it depends) to learn something that you would have learnt from a Expert blogger and step up your blogging game in few days.

quote me right; I am not condemning self learning because about 60% of the blogging journey depends on self learning. But always get a good mentor at the start(not necessarily though,)

Check the stories of top bloggers, a higher percentage of them actually closed their first blog and started afresh.
Why?
because they might have missed out from some vital information as a beginner. Therefore their first site lacked expertise touch, and probably couldn't be revived

So there had to create a new one to implement that one vital step they missed out along the line to get a desired result. If they were properly informed, then I am not sure they would have missed out the target from the start.

A very good one, I lost my first blog and also my first adsense account because of self learning, currently developing a website for a new out for blogging business

It's really hard to cover everything when self learning.
Well that wouldn't mean self learning is completely bad..

I do not think that self-learning is always a bad thing; however, it is always to take some guidance from other expereinced bloggers and developers who are good at giving tips. There are hundreds of articles written about how you can earn money and attract visitors to your website. It is preferable to read them first before applying your own strategies.

If you don't have a mentor in Blogging it can mar the development or progress of your journey in Blogging. Even though you can still learn on your own but the best thing to do is just to have a mentor to work with

Yes, that's true..
I also kind of believe in self learning.
I mean what do we expect those without a startup money to do.
It's all self experience in the long run

By mentor, it doesn't have to be someone you talk to right..

Haha I mean you can just be stalking the person's blogs and articles and learning from them
Right?

You cannot be experienced to the extreme when you teach yourself I love you as compared to you learning from someone professionally. This is a delicate issue and beyond self learning

The only regret I have regarding my blogging endeavors is that I started very late. I was introduced to online writing in 2006, I knew about blogging in 2008, yet I did not start my own blog until 2015.

This is a wonderful and detailed information on how you Can learn self blogging with ease, learning self blogging at times takes up to a year or two , and if you want to learn from an expert , it wont take more than 5month.

Self learning Blogging isn't actually a bad thing. The only thing I really don't like about the stuff is just the fact that it will take you some months to learn some key techniques in the business. That's that for me

Haha well..what about us, I'm only glad that am still 17 and am already about to start my blog, I started learning everything concerning it at 15, so well 2yrs am already supposedly educated quite alittle.

Well since you started blogging along time ago, maybe you can educate me on things you learnt and also a few payment information on how much you earn monthly.
Plleeeaase?

I started my first blog in 2008. I have made good earnings from adsense. I learned everything by researching like million times :)

I had a friend who began his blogging via online videos from Youtube and now he has become almost an expert. His site has been accepted by google and he is earning money from it. I don't think it's a bad thing to start one personally. Having a mentor is much faster though.

It is not a wise decision to decide to learn blogging or your own without guide from an expert. You are going to waste a lot of time and resources doing this. you can easily give up if you don't see results on time.

I believe everyone has their learning speed and of cause their learning capacity. Though I completely get you point but I have also seen people who learnt by themselves in months are are doing really well.

Even the supposed experts won't share everything with you, but only give you matter that you would read your to gain better information.

I think it depends on your type of style of learning, there are people that don't learn things easily, you need to know the type of learning skill you have . On like me, I don't learn things easily so I need someone to teach me and also guide me in starting up a successful blog

Their are persons online, that learned blogging on their own, they created the free hosted blogging site, and made the designs, create contents and drag Ads on their own.

For me I think it's best you use both self learning and mentorship, because not all teachers will be willing to teach you all they know, you still have to learn things on your own.
