Dangers of self learning in Blogging.

For me I think it's best you use both self learning and mentorship, because not all teachers will be willing to teach you all they know, you still have to learn things on your own.
You will hardly find a mentor that will teach you all they know for free, they have to be a catch to it.
But self learning well it's quite easy, and even if I needed a mentor I prefer going to buy a course on whatever topic am confused about about going to pay someone to be my mentor who eventually might not even teach me what they know.

Even the supposed experts won't share everything with you, but only give you matter that you would read your to gain better information.
Even if he will not shared the full information with you it's good to have someone that is guiding you than you guiding yourself all alone.

The problem is that most people rely solely on the so called experts and they will later realise the person doesn't even know much like they thought.

I have seen people who have learnt to be professional and profitable blog is in a very short in within one year so it all matters on your level of commitment and dedication.

Self learning in Blogging is very good for those who don’t want to spend to learn or those who don’t want mentorship. But self learning in Blogging can be time consuming. It might could take 2 - 4 years(or maybe months or even hours it depends) to learn something that you would have learnt from a Expert blogger and step up your blogging game in few days.

quote me right; I am not condemning self learning because about 60% of the blogging journey depends on self learning. But always get a good mentor at the start(not necessarily though,)

Check the stories of top bloggers, a higher percentage of them actually closed their first blog and started afresh.
Why?
because they might have missed out from some vital information as a beginner. Therefore their first site lacked expertise touch, and probably couldn't be revived

So there had to create a new one to implement that one vital step they missed out along the line to get a desired result. If they were properly informed, then I am not sure they would have missed out the target from the start.
Self learning in blogging doesn't discourage being a professional blogger. Most online blogging tutorials are self explanatory especially paid ones. So there is nothing bad in self-learning, if we can buy paid courses.

Well that's my kind of way, I love doing things on my own, I rather have a partner than a mentor, why I need a partner is because we are in the same niche and field and whatever they go through, tell will let me know, likewise me so therefore we share different strategies that works for beginners and also go through the process together.

But a mentor is simply telling you and teaching you what he or she knew before which could not be working now

I think that it is very important to learn and gain knowledge when it comes to starting anything in your life. Blogging is not so much different and it is always a great idea to learn from other's mistakes. There are many people who can guide you on the internet and there are many articles available on the internet, so we can always learn from them.

By mentor, it doesn't have to be someone you talk to right..

Haha I mean you can just be stalking the person's blogs and articles and learning from them
Right?
Its not that easy. Blogging is not just about writing words. There are technical aspects to it. Even when it comes to writing, you can't just learn by copying someone else

This is very true. also you have to ensure that your content is very good that it will cause people to engage with you in that business and that will allow your blog to succeed.

You still need to learn some part of blogging yourself. Relying all on experts or mentors to me is like not really ready. We need mentor for guidance and not for teaching

Learning blogging from people as well don't guarantee your success or failure. The best thing is to be doing it the right way and not depending on anybody.

Why would someone settle to self learning just because you don't want to invest on your future. Pay and get mentorship from top... That's how you grow

I've gotten enough information about those who learned blogging on their own most of them are doing well through the testimonies I've seen them make. Anyone can learn it on his or her own, becoming an expert blogger too, it simply depends on the zeal to know it.

That's a very good and interesting idea but I also believe that there are good number of people who learn by them self and they are doing good without experience any form of danger.

It depends on the person because some people learn fast but I also think using both self learning and having a tutor or a mentor is the best

I don't really think thee mentorship thing could be a way, I think you can learn everything you can about blogging online, taking courses and watching videos. Blogging isn't something that you should have a mentor or take years learning from someone.

Self learning is not recommendable in creating your own blog. I would see anyone that does this as unserious. Get yourself a coach or mentor, someone with experience to guide you

Sometimes I actually feel like someone should teach me certain things I don't know much about but sincerely on the long run I will still later prefer researching and learning myself.

You cannot be experienced to the extreme when you teach yourself I love you as compared to you learning from someone professionally. This is a delicate issue and beyond self learning
Nowadays people believe they can learn anything on their own. This is very true but then, there are thing that you can't be thought, things that only experience can reveal them to you

This principle is applicable in almost all field, because the role of mentor cannot be overemphasied. The journey that would ordinarily take you a few weeks to learn can take you years because of self learning.

While there are no proper schools that will teach you how to become a blogger, you might find a lot of short term courses that teach you how to become a blogger. You can also self learn. There is no problem in this.
