hello to all you drummers out there i need some more help(forogt to put something in my last post)
as of now i have randomly assorted series of paiste cymbals. while they have good sound they are all rather thin and being in a metal band they wont last too long. my question is what cymbals should i get. they will not be for gigging, but i need something to practice with, im afraid that if i keep practicing at my rate(10-12 hours a week) they will crack within a few more months.
i have been debating over getting some zildjian zbt's or sabian b8's. i need something that i can bang on pretty hard in practice sessions but sound quality is also a factor. also ive seen some meinl mcs's for very decent prices on musiciansfriend.com but i have no experience with the brand so any information would be useful.
p.s. i know that cymbal brand is very much a matter of personal preference but please any information will be much appreciated
thanks!
