I am staff on multiple forums and some of these forums use Slack as a workspace for for team and staff management. I use slack on my mobile phone and I get notice from admin, team leaders and other staff when they notify me through Slack. Using slack for staff management is very good. Have you uses it?

I like Slack, use it for work.

For my new forum which is based on a simulation game, I prefer Discord since most of friends are on Discord already and we have a Nitro upgrade.

We used to a long time ago, but I found it was hard to get my staff to use it. Most people on my site use Skype to communicate if they're not sending PMs on site, so that's what we use.

I used to be on the Forum Promotion team, and they used Slack.

I use it for the Grammarly ambassador stuff.

Other than that, I'd rather use PM or a staff section on the forum.

It's the same thing they're using now because I'm still in their team. I'm also on Discussion Bucks team and they make use of Slack as well. The only problem I have with Slack is that messages get wiped after a period of time. I haven't been able to mark the timing on when they delete it.

Slack has a 90-day message history.

I would either use Discord or a Staff-only section within the forums for communication.

A lot of people I know use Slack on phones, and you can get prompt reply. However, not all staff log into your website every day and sometimes your message can take days to get a response. Slack can be useful if the site is down or you encounter login issues. For instance, recently, a forum where I was a staff had some email issues and I could not log in. Slack helped me to communicate with the admin and get back to the site
