I love custard! Especially with a warm slice of sponge cake with warm custard. That is perfect during the winter months. I always remember when I was in school we used to have pudding and we would have pink custard, I barely see it anymore as I used to when I was younger but I do miss it.

My 15-year-old son also prefers it cold and out of the tin if we get the tinned kind of custard. I tell him he's weird for eating it cold and he just laughs and shrugs at me. I guess because I was brought up to eat custard warm it's just something normal for me now and eating it cold doesn't feel right even though it is an option.
