What types of things are in your contract when you agree to do a graphic design for someone?

For me, some of the important things are, the price, the estimated time of when it's due, how many revisions are included, when and how payment is to be made.

How much do you usually expect in a deposit? 1/2 or 1/3?

I've never required a deposit because I've mostly worked with reputable companies or people I trust, but if it were a stranger, I'd expect either half or the full payment up front.

When I did portraits on commission, I got paid in full up front.
