Removed them. 6 clicks, 2k impressions and only 5 cents? Seems very unfair.

Adsense really is the best when it comes to ads.

Seriously adsense is pretty awesome when it comes to payout rates. I have tried a lot of ad networks and nothing has even been any close!

A lot of people say Chitika is just as good, but I think they are talking out their ass or are in like an insurance niche or something.

LOL Seems like your getting ripped. What is the traffic source?

Clicks are coming from Click. Read. Share, which gets like 90% US traffic.

Yes, chitika pricing is unfair. I prefer adsense or Yahoo ad network when it comes to cpc advertising. I just think chitika ads are attractive and attract clicks that doesn't convert; they set a low bid to prevent investment loss for their advertisers. I will still recommend them because of their low minimum payout and international availability!

I tried Chitika because I was attracted by the opportunity of easily converting my earnings into PayPal cash but it was definitely a waste of time. I made zero $ and the ads looked horrible on my blog. Changed to Adsense and slowly but surely I started earning again.

Most ad networks are absolute crap for smaller sites unfortunately. I've never had any luck with ad network ads on my sites (apart from Adsense before I was banned).

I tried Chitika before since my site was rejected for AdSense. Like you, I didn't earn too much from there, even though my traffic is organic.

As such, I think it would be better to find new ways to monetize a site, since most people ignore or block ads nowadays.

I am using adsense and got my first payment after more than 6 months accumulating cents from clicks. I was happy after all. I like infolinks also which generates some bucks even if i am still under 200 views per day with my website. The best deal for my website was affiliate marketing, sometimes, $100 per sale!

Haha, I used to use them for my sports blog :D

I made no money, they are so ripping off their publishers.

Chitika is a crap ad network. I've tried them before too when I still wasn't approved by Adsense. I never cashed out from them. I think you need to have a million impressions and a hundred thousand clicks in order to reach the minimum payout.

Chitika does have its advantages like lower minimum payout as compared to Google Adsense and more payment options available. Also, they are less strict than Adsense. They don't implement a lot of crap policies. Still, Chitika is not worth it. Try Infolinks instead.
