Checking your partner's smartphone?

The issue of trust and faithfulness have been a major challenge in most relationships. Several relationship and marriage have been destroyed as a result of lack of trust and faithfulness. In so many relationships, if a partner goes through their partner's phone, the relationship is 99% going to crash because of things he or she would see.

I don't have anything to hide from my partner on my smartphone. She's free to access it whenever she needs and I don't care about going through her phone unless she gives me a reason to.

I don't bother to check my husband's cell phone. We both know each other's code to unlock them and he's free to look at my phone at any time. I just grab it away when he starts scrolling through Facebook because those things in the feed don't pop up again and I miss out on things.

but my parnter knows my passcode, and i know his passcode so we don't hide anything we are pretty open about everything

A partner's phone is their business, so I prefer not to look. Anyway, if someone is cheating, probably you can tell without spying. If you do spy, knowing they cheat, you will just make the situation worse.

While I don't have a partner, I still hold the belief that privacy is an essential aspect to consider in relationships. As an individual, I value my privacy, and I would consider going through my partner's phone as a significant invasion of privacy. Trust should be the foundation of any relationship, and if there are concerns or doubts, open communication and dialogue would be more appropriate than invading each other's personal devices.

No. That is a big no no and causes trust issues between you and your partner. I've known women that have kicked their boyfriends to the curb just for going through their phone. To honest, I don't have to go through my girlfriend's phone. She's always showing me things on it anyway and I'm always letting her see my text messages from the people we know. We're both very open to each other.
