It can help but does not earn you much. If you are using CPM ads, they require you unique traffic. If the same user visit the site regularly that's not unique traffic. CPC ads depend on user clicks, if the regular users on the site click on ads, you can be charged with click fraud.

This is possible as long as the site is running ads. With the increase in the number of traffic increases the chances that some of them will click on any of the displayed ads which will result to payment.

Based on what I have been reading about the issue of spamming and plagiarism the contents of the forum should be with substance to make it earn revenue. When the post is "generic" then it doesn't really earn anything for the forum. Maybe if you would post your experience which is not ordinary then that would be earning revenue for the forum.

Well, I would say that technically it can increase the website revenue but it's dependent on how high or huge the chatters are that comes to the site in the first place.

I think the more members a site have the more revenue it will generate. So that's the more reason why most site tells their member to refer more people to their site so they could be generating more revenue at the end of it I guess.

Well if the traffic is small there is no way it can be able to increase the revenue that you earn from the site so if you're looking at earning from the traffic that you get from your site it's definitely going to be millions of traffic.

Forums needs millions of traffic to stay on and attract sponsors, and not just earning from ads alone. Earning from ads alone can't sustain the forum long time.

Personally I don't believe that such traffic or comments can ever be enough for you to earn money from them, so you need to do more to drive more traffic to your site that can be able to help it earn money when you monetize your website.
