CAD

Anybody use CAD? Computer-aided design. When I was in school, many years ago lol, I had a friend who was into CAD & was taking classes. Is this technique still being used today or is it obsolete compared to newer ones? For those who use or used it, what did you think of this versus others for designing?

CAD is still used by engineers and designers at some companies. Where my husband works, they have it installed on some of the computers. My husband doesn't know anything about it though because there is a special CAD team just for installing the software and troubleshooting it.
